| On December 31, 2009, Bear Creek Township in conjunction with Bear Creek Village Borough filed a grant application of nearly $600,000 for safety improvements on and around State Route 115. Highlights of the request are: |

It is worth noting that Bear Creek Township has twice before made gaming grant applications but to date has not been awarded any funding. The applications submitted previously are available below, including prior attempts to fund the culvert repair, the new firetruck, the improved school zone signs, and the wireless surveillance system.
